The sleeve opening is wide at the body of the poncho for easy dressing. The cuff fastens around the wrist with Velcro tabs so that the arms cannot become uncovered, but hands are always free. Lined hood has a drawstring to pull the hood close to the face, keeping neck and ears warm, while vision is unblocked Headrest zipper allows the poncho to be used on a wheelchair with a headrest. This makes dressing easy while keeping the user warm.
